Getting Off The Road II

Last week I spoke of our vision for building our SFT Ministry Retreat House. Thank you to all who inquired about supporting this mission. This week I wanted to share our other new initiative. It is the next step in our book, “greatness.” This book has exceeded our expectations in every way and on every scale. Our next step is the launching of “greatness live” in the quintessential German village of Fredericksburg, Texas at the Iconic Admiral Nimitz Museum Ballroom. Nimitz was a national hero in WWII and a native of Fredericksburg. He exemplifies the “greatest generation.” This all-day master-class event will be the opposite of the modern-day loud, large gathering, cookie cutter, choreographed, stage hollering, smoke and confetti, walking on coals event. It will accommodate an intimate gathering of 25-50 individuals in small-town Americana incorporating the environment into the experience. I will be inviting committed lifelong learners to join me for a unique storytelling event that I describe as a “long cup of coffee.” I will be shooting the trailer for this event next week in Fredericksburg. In the weeks and months ahead I will update you with information for those of you that may want to take a trek to the Hill Country of Texas and join me in this experience.

“But the greatest among you will be your servant…”
