Freed Not Broken
“I don’t break horses, I free them,” Johnny explained. “The horses come here as broncs. They leave free, as horses that love to be ridden. I turn them into trail horses for kids. Freedom is a powerful force.”
I have learned that this is the heart of God. Too many people see an angry God that is trying to zap them into submission. God the father has one purpose, to free us from the reign of the enemy. He is love. There is no condemnation in love, no meanness, no brow beating. When I finally understood that, like the bronc horse above, I received my destiny, “to serve and carry others, not buck them off and inflict harm on them.”
