Just about every meltdown can be traced back to the moment we began to press. Pressing is a definition problem. In every situation that we find ourselves, we get to be like Merriam-Webster and define it. Our definitions lead to calm resolution or an epic meltdown. In the end, either is a response to our chosen definition—our perspective.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
