Lost in the Pecking Order of a Random Herd

A wild horse would rather spend his days running from predators and foraging for survival, lost in the pecking order of a random herd than submit to the trainer.
— Golf’s Sacred Journey: The Sequel, p. 109

Commentary:

The quote above describes many of our lives. It is a hopeless place to live—a place of fear, constant anxiety, and using people to try to move up the pecking order in life. The next line in the book is transformational. It is my testimony and many of yours. “However, when the horse submits, freedom replaces chaos, trust replaces fear, and purpose replaces aimless running.”  The day I submitted it all changed. And that is why I write. To open the door to freedom for all those lost in the pecking order of a random herd…
